Fashion stylist for advertising campaigns, fashion editorials and founder of an independent magazine, Federica Lo Cascio was born and studied in the Sicilian cultural ferment before moving to Rome, the artistic cradle where craftsmanship and slow fashion combine to perfection.
A continuous research
My work stems from an incessant study and love of photography, costume history and cinema. My personal idea of fashion focuses on sustainability and the creative use of basic garments, under the influence of designers such as Miuccia Prada, Helmut Lang and Yohji Yamamoto despite having a strong punk inspiration from the archives of Vivienne Westwood.
One word: storytelling
My styling is always based on a strong idea. The moodboard is the communication channel par excellence of a stylist and through this it is possible to convey ideas to the client. The search for interesting brands, the right team and casting are the order of the day in my work. Culture, photography and music come together in a style mix, because fashion is not just clothing.
An all-round job
From iconographic research to the organisation of a set to its realisation, I empathise with the client and what he would like to see at the end. If you are a fashion, jewellery or accessories brand and you are looking for your own identity, we will study an ad hoc project together. If, on the other hand, you are a photographer and need a team, or you have a creative studio but are not familiar with the world of styling, I could be your partner in creating advertising campaigns, fashion films and editorials together.
