Istituto Melodia is a craft atelier based in Rome, active since the late 1990s. Created to offer an alternative to industrial production, it makes limited-edition garments using high-quality fabrics sourced from surplus and scraps of major fashion brands.
Its work is rooted in an ethical and personalized production process, in collaboration with artisans, artists, and small local workshops. Each piece can be adapted or custom-designed to meet the wearer’s needs.
The atelier also explores artisanal dyeing techniques, with a strong focus on sustainability and the use of natural dyes.
