Vogueabond becomes a clandestine school of monstrous elegance. Hidden among vintage clothes and eccentric accessories, visitors will hunt for Monster High dolls and discover outfits inspired by their iconic aesthetics: gothic prep, decadent Y2K, dark chaos

For some, Vogueabond is a vintage shop in the center of Rome. For others, it is probably a dimensional portal with excellent aesthetic taste.

On the occasion of Rome Fashion Path, Vogueabond presents a special event dedicated to the visual universe of Monster High: outsider creatures, dramatic, very elegant and surprisingly close to the spirit of contemporary vintage.

For a day the shop will transform into a sort of "monster boarding school" hidden among 70s coats, illustrated scarves, eccentric jewelery and accessories. The iconic Monster High dolls will be scattered among the shelves, camouflaged as small clandestine presences to be discovered by carefully observing the details.

The idea comes from a simple parallel: even vintage, like monsters, often lives outside the rules of conventional taste. Both belong to those who prefer character over perfection.

During the event, visitors will be able to explore selections of outfits inspired by the different "aesthetics" of Monster High reinterpreted through the language of Vogueabond: dark academia, decadent gothic schoolgirl, Y2K ruinous glamour, aristocratic punk, Italian creepy chic, old-money vampire on vacation, rebellious daughter of a countess who collects vinyl and problems.

Each look will be constructed using authentic vintage garments and unique accessories, demonstrating how reuse can become a creative, theatrical and profoundly contemporary tool.

The event will be accompanied by small narrative details, photographable styling corners and an atmosphere deliberately suspended between a Gothic college, a Roman boutique and the dressing room of an immortal teenage rock star.

Because in the end, true elegance isn't about being perfect. It's about being slightly weird with absolute conviction.
