From Sketch to Catwalk: The Future of Made in Italy

By participating in the 2026 Rome Fashion Path, the IIS Apicio Colonna Gatti of Anzio - Nettunocelebrates the fusion of the artisanal skills acquired by third- and fifth-year students with the vision of tomorrow's designers, chronicling a five-year journey.

Each garment represents the blurring of boundaries between pure creativity and production management. Every cut is a challenge to conformity, blending design innovation with local tradition—reinterpreted through original ideas, sketches, pattern-making software, and technical layout techniques.

On the runway, we won't just see clothes; we will see the expertise of multifaceted designers between the ages of fifteen and eighteen. Behind every seam lies the work of those who will become tomorrow’s "architects of fashion" and commercial experts, capable of promoting the uniqueness of Italian products worldwide.

"Generation Z Fashion" aims to be a springboard into the professional world and higher education—the core mission of our Institute. Supported by their teachers, these students are already tangible proof that the Made in Italy legacy is in safe, young, and extraordinarily technical hands.
