Palazzo Ripetta

Palazzo Ripetta is an independent five-star hotel, affiliated with Relais & Châteaux, located in the heart of Rome.

The building, renovated in the 1960s by architect Luigi Moretti, represents the perfect blend of history, art, and architecture. Today, it boasts 78 rooms and suites, along with 5 meeting rooms, a rooftop, and an outdoor courtyard. Originally built at the end of the 17th century as the Conservatory of Divine Providence, it was restored in 2020 with significant interventions that enhanced Moretti’s original project. Today, the hotel welcomes guests and culinary travelers alike. The San Baylon restaurant occupies the spaces that once served as the refectory of the 17th-century convent, offering a cuisine inspired by classic Italian dishes.

Palazzo Ripetta is also home to an exceptional art collection that has grown over the years: from ancient Roman artifacts to Baroque masterpieces, all the way to contemporary artworks. Highlights include the iconic Sphere by Pomodoro, works by Burri and Scialoja, the Bernini Hall with Triga’s fresco, Lorenzetti’s sculpture, and creations by renowned artists such as Giacomo Manzù, alongside pioneers of New York street art like Angel Ortiz.

The outdoor spaces are equally sophisticated, particularly in the cloister of Piazzetta Ripetta, where Roman-era elements stand out amidst a contemporary design atmosphere, and on the Etere terrace with its Rooftop Bar.
