Gloria selects the kimonos for her store with great care, touching them personally because, as she repeats to her customers, “only through touch can one be certain of the genuineness of the fabric.” This fine selection results in a wide variety of unique pieces ranging from silk kimonos with intricate floral or geometric weaves to the simplest and most informal cotton yukatas. Her offerings are also enriched with contemporary, sought-after and original jewelry and accessories made with consistently excellent workmanship.
In her Atelier in Via di Monserrato it is also possible to find unique tailor-made confections, made with fine Japanese fabrics such as obi belts and scarves but also small handcrafted jewelry productions with which Gloria testifies to her Florentine training as a goldsmith.
The journey does not end and each new inspiration sprung from a journey is realized in new proposals for clothing and accessories that challenge ephemeral fashions, overcoming them to approach the beauty, uniqueness and originality that belong to every single human being.
