Elena Kihlman is a Finnish designer of Russian origin who has made textile and interior design her distinctive signature. Graduating in 2002 with a Master of Arts in Fashion and Textile Design from the University of Art and Design Helsinki (UIAH), she began her career by founding her own design and production studio in Helsinki, where she collaborated with several companies designing leather garments and bags.
In 2005, she moved to Rome and opened her showroom in the heart of the Monti district, just steps from the Colosseum: a unique space that hosts her personal collection of home textiles, bags, and fashion accessories, the result of deep research into materials, techniques, and cultures.
