Obiettivo Psico Sociale ETS
The workshop is an activity organized by Obiettivo Psico Sociale ETS with Insieme Solidali Group coordinated by the stylist designer Patrizia Corona together with three tutors.

The non-formal Ethical Tailoring Workshop was born in 2023 at the premises made available by the Parish of San Policarpo (in Municipality VII) with which a memorandum of understanding is active.

The workshop is an activity organized by Obiettivo Psico Sociale ETS with the Insieme Solidali Group coordinated by designer stylist Patrizia Corona together with three tutors.

Beyond the technical professional aspects, the purpose is the affirmation of the right of non-discriminatory beauty so that women's empowerment is supported by creating their own project without pre-established roles with the goal of social and work autonomy, respect and self-care. Not just dreams but dreams to be realized with the strength and will to change. Knowledge, respect and the exercise of rights makes it possible to change and transform the flow of one's existence and to be arteficɘ of one's existence. We chose beauty as the topic because the concept of non-discriminatory beauty includes topics such as: culture of rights, inclusion, gender equality, and the value of being human.  The ethical tailoring workshop project aims to promote and support the development of network actions and women's empowerment with social, economic and cultural involvement in a collective path of contamination and cooperation between associative and professional realities.

The workshop, which is free of charge for the people who participate in it, deals mainly with the handcrafted production of women's clothing and household items. The initial idea that accompanied the structuring of the activities is to support women with socio-economic hardship through training paths to build opportunities for socio-work inclusion and social integration. The goal is to provide an inclusive, family-friendly and synergistic space where confrontation and mutual enrichment between different cultures is possible. The vehicular activities are sewing, needlework and crochet, and material recovery. The further goal is the achievement of technical-professional training, for foreigners also language , to be able to unleash their creativity and strengthen their self-esteem.

In addition to the technical-professional goals (cutting, tailoring, handmade household and personal items, thrift&flip clothing - used reconditioned - crochet and additional areas based on the interests of the people participating) of great importance are the sociocultural goals such as: supporting the emergence of small groups that, after the training period, can continue to cooperate and support each other, putting different aptitudes and skills to good use; improving knowledge of the Italian language (when necessary), a prerequisite for better social and labor inclusion; supporting people of all ages in reading about their interests by soliciting social interaction.

Obiettivo Psico Sociale ETS through the activities of the workshop is the host site of extracurricular internships also of social inclusion according to the regulations of the Lazio region.

The association is involved in planning and coordinating, also in a network with other associations, unconventional fashion shows of clothes, accessories and thoughts such as those in the pictures you see on the website (the clothes are creations of designer stylist Patrizia Corona of Ethical Tailoring and worn by the non-professional models of the Insieme Solidali Group). Recently in 2024, two projects were organized and coordinated both with two fashion shows: project Fila e Sfila in ATS with AssemblAbili GlobAli OdV and Equilibri di Architetture Visibili e Invisibili with the fashion show Fili Solidali. The choreographic frame for both fashion shows was created with images from the exhibition Fili solidali, entrusted by Obiettivo Psico Sociale ETS to professional photographer Teresa Mancini.
