Ein Traum | Sunday 18 May | 18:30-23:30 @ Rome Fashion Path
Ein Traum

An exhibition that explores fashion as self-conscious illusion, questioning the relationship between appearance and identity, and inviting the viewer to look at themselves without filters.

“Ein Traum” is a photographic exhibition born from the desire to transform dreams into images—not as an escape, but as a conscious act where aesthetics explore identity. Virginia Cafarotti’s photographs move between appearance and introspection, fashion as a language of the self, and the body as a surface for symbolic projections. In this project, clothing becomes narrative gesture, emotional armor, or poetic amplification.

Each shot invites viewers to linger in an altered dimension, where time becomes fluid and light sculpts skin, fabric, and space. There’s a constant tension between visibility and concealment: veiled faces, ambiguous gestures, softened outlines. Subjects, immersed in nature or abstraction, seem to traverse inner states, captured while both revealing and protecting themselves—balanced between expression and silence.

In “Ein Traum”, fashion acts as a medium between the individual and the beyond. Bodies draped in ethereal or sculptural garments converse with their surroundings—rocks, sea, foliage, darkness. Nothing is accidental, yet everything remains open to interpretation, like a true dream. Photography becomes a visual meditation, asking us how much of what we see is real and how much is a projection of longing.

Open from May 18 to May 28 and organized by Glami Inside Fashion, the exhibition offers an immersive journey into suspended, transformative beauty.
