Born in May 1958, the writer has been holding a camera in his hand since he was four years old. The precious instructions of his father, an excellent photographer, designer and musician, are decisive in the manual setting of the camera, at the time in 120 format and without a light meter, which requires reading the ambient light "by eye" to choose the diaphragms and shutter speeds necessary for the success of the image. Always devoted to sports, in 1987 he won the competition to enter the ISEF of L'Aquila where he graduated with top marks. In October 1981 he did his military service as a reserve officer and at the end, in 1983, he began his school career that would last for forty-two years, with short-term substitute teaching positions in Physical Education in the Public School.

The practice for scuba diving is crucial, the discovery of the wreck of a plane from the last war with its nice quantity of large unexploded bombs, some well-curated shots with the NIKONOS, the dive as a guide of the Navy divers, the reclamation of the seabed from the devices and following the interviews for newspapers and TV. Then an article with the photos on IL SUBACQUEO with the offer of the editorial staff for the external collaboration and the first step in professionalism is taken.In that period he also began his apprenticeship at a professional photography studio, where he refined his techniques and began to contextualize the contents of the shots according to photojournalistic/reportage canons and thus began the publication of the photos in the major national and some international newspapers. Over the years, many work experiences followed in the photographic sector and often also in journalism, as in the case of the historic monthly "FOTOGRAFARE", for which the writer conducted and published interviews and carried out tests of photographic equipment for several years.

For about ten years, until the early 2000s, he collaborated with the national headquarters of CONFESERCENTI, producing reports of events and conferences. Some services made on behalf of AGI also date back to the same periods.

The great passion for music has always been great and the work with the agency of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma comes as the greatest of dreams. For many years up to today, the main subjects portrayed are Dance, theater and concerts of all musical genres. Fashion is another sector where the writer has been trying his hand for a long time, initially only following the catwalks in events then, since this last environment is too inflated, he continues photographing in the studio. In 2017 he purchased a space of 100 square meters in the San Lorenzo neighborhood in Rome which he uses as a studio with a studio, post-production equipment, an art laboratory for his wife's activities and an exhibition room.
