Bags, accessories, and furniture made from reused materials and unique pieces. Since 2008, RE(f)USE, founded by Ilaria Venturini Fendi, has been a space dedicated to promoting sustainability, recycling, and circular economy culture, offering her CARMINA CAMPUS products alongside other designers embracing the same creative approach to fashion and design.
CARMINA CAMPUS is a fashion project launched by Ilaria Venturini Fendi in 2006, featuring bags, accessories, and furniture crafted by Italian artisans using high-quality techniques exclusively on reused and discarded materials: vintage, warehouse leftovers, end-of-series, defective, or disused stock.
After a long career at her family company as Creative Director of Accessories for the Fendissime young line and Shoe Designer for the main line, Ilaria Venturini Fendi left the Fendi group—and for a while, fashion altogether—before returning with her brand. With Carmina Campus, she collaborated with the UN International Trade Centre for a Made in Africa line and with cooperatives for the design and commercialization of several Made in Prison collections, produced within Italian prison workshops.
Her work with Carmina Campus has earned multiple international awards (including the ADI Design and Green Fashion Award) and speaking engagements at United Nations events (such as Rio+20) and conferences on sustainable fashion and design.
